What this site is
An independent reference for what a device costs to run: published wattages, the published price of a kilowatt-hour, and the arithmetic between them shown in full.
How we work
Two published numbers and a multiplication. Wattages are cited per device with a date; the tariff comes from the EIA monthly publication with its reporting month. Every assumption, especially how many hours a day means, is stated on the page rather than buried.
What we are not
We sell nothing, there are no affiliate links, and we take no payment from manufacturers. We also do not claim to predict your bill: a national average tariff and a standard test procedure are not your home.
